The Stadium Authority was happy to support this initiative in raising awareness of the need for safe blood and recognizing the voluntary blood donors for their precious gift – blood.
The theme for the celebration was “every blood donation is a gift of life”. This precious life saving gift is priceless and donors are worthy of such recognition for their voluntary unpaid gift. A cross section of blood donors attending the June 14th Annual World Blood Donor Day event.
